The Assisted Living Connections team was honored to participate in the 2025 RCFE Association Conference, held August 22–23rd this year at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. This two-day event brought together residential care facility (RCFE) owners, operators, placement professionals, and senior living leaders to share practical tools, strategies, and inspiration for navigating today’s fast-changing senior care landscape.

Featured Session: Placement Power Hour

Our own Kelila Heller, along with fellow placement agency owners Allison Beale and Christine Sevier, led the highly attended seminar, Placement Power Hour. Their session focused on real-world strategies for senior placement agencies, offering proven approaches, practical tools, and success stories that highlighted how agencies can better serve families while strengthening their partnerships with senior living providers.

Key Takeaways from the Conference

In addition to sharing their own expertise, the Assisted Living Connections team attended a variety of impactful seminars. Topics included:

  • Upcoming Medi-Cal changes and how they will affect care homes and families.
  • The growing role of AI in senior living, from streamlining operations to reshaping care delivery.
  • Managing challenging behaviors in dementia care, with a powerful presentation from Silverado Senior Living.

The conference was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and peers in the industry in a meaningful way while gaining knowledge and sharing ideas. See a gallery of our time below, including an evening of discussion and drinks at the Disneyland Hotel’s iconic Tiki Room!

For Assisted Living Connections, the 2025 RCFE Conference was both an opportunity to share knowledge and to gain valuable new insights. The event reinforced the importance of collaboration, education, and innovation in supporting families as they navigate senior care decisions.
