Physician’s Report for Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) LIC 602A
A Physician’s Report and a TB test are required by the California Department of Social Services for admission to any Licensed Assisted Living Facility. The report form is completed and signed by the potential resident’s primary physician to assess current functional capacity, mental condition and any other pertinent health-related issues or considerations.

National Veteran Support, accredited with the VA, is a nonprofit organization that streamlines getting veterans the Aid and Attendance benefit. This is the best resource we have found to help you get this important benefit quickly. Benefits are retroactive from time of application.
National Veteran Support is one of the only agencies that fills out the extensive forms required by the VA, customized for each person. This is a significant reason to use their service. Families are required to attend an online webinar or in person seminar to get the process started. NVS asks for a donation to support their work.

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Groups
The need for family caregivers and, by extension, caregiving support groups is expanding across the country exponentially. There are currently 43.5 million adult family caregivers who care for someone 50 years of age and older. Of those, 14.9 million people care for someone who has Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
